Robert "Videobob" Moseley got his nickname as a video
producer making musinc videos, TV shows and commercials.
Videobob works with close friend, Vinnie Paul Abbot, famed drummer of
the heavy metal band "PANTERA"
and his new project, "HELLYEAH".
Bob has produced music videos and DVD's for the band and Vinnie's
record label "BIG VIN RECORDS".
Videobob's videos can be found in retail outlets such as BEST BUY, FYE,
etc. and seen on MTV2, FUSE and other music video channels.
Videobob has also been a television personality and host of some of his
own shows as well as acted bit parts in national television series.
Bob's shop has also built props used in major motion pictures.

An avid Delorean enthusiest, Videobob began to convert his own Delorean
into a
Time Machine back in 2004.
The quest to build the car and get it perfect has taken over 8 years
and many trips to California to do research on the original cars.
Since buying his first Delorean in 2003, Bob has become a bit of an
expert in the Delorean sports car owing six cars to date
and is well known to the community of over 6000 Delorean owners and
fans.

So far, Bob has built 9 of the Time Machines as well as other replicas.
Here are replica numbers 2 and 4 together for a photo shoot.
A lot of metal working and electronics skills are required to build
these replicas.
The use of industrial power tools and a dedicated machine shop was
neccesary to build the car.

special effects supervisor who's shop
"Filmtrix" built the original Time Machines for the film back in 1985.

IMDB listing)
Bob sought out the advice and direction of Mr. Pike to build this car.
This included staying with Kevin at his home in Sherman Oaks,
California and visiting the locations
where his team bought the original parts used when they built the 3
cars for the film in 1985.
Amazingly many of the parts were still available.
Bob sought out the help of other builders in the hobby to help with his
projects.

How
much is a Delorean Time Machine worth?
Videobob is not the first person to build a Time Machine replica.
Long before he built six of these replicas, many others have attempted
this feat in the last 25 years since the film was released in 1985.
The early versions of the replicas were not "screen accurate" at all,
they were Deloreans with basic parts found at hardware and electronic
stores
with a lot of creative freedom and without the luxury of the internet,
DVD, home printing and other techonology.
However in the last 10 years because of the availability of the
internet as a research and meeting tool
there have been great strides made in these replicas.
Here are some examples of a few cars
that have sold recently at auction.

In December 2009, this replica sold on eBay to Seth McFarlane
(creator of "Family Guy") for
$89,000
Upon buying it he then put another $20,000 in additons and repairs to
the car.

In November 2010, this replica sold at the "Profiles In History"
auction in Hollywood California for $95,000

There are many
other examples of cars that have sold at auction, but none of these
cars are in the same league as this particular car.
This car is not
only screen accurate but it is fully functional with all the lights and
sounds of the movie.
Never before has a
car like this been manufactured or offered for sale.
